A close friend of mine recently passed away and left me a bunch of gear. Included were the following mics:
Shure 869
Shure PE56D
Shure SM53
Shure SM59
A&F MC-38SD
Altec Lansing 650B
Electrovoice N/D 757
EV SRO-DS35
Microtech Gefell GMBH MG UM70
I know that some of these mics must be pretty good (he was a major gear head) but I am not sure what their strengths and weaknesses are and where I can apply them in my own recordings.
