What are you using?

Can anybody out ther tell me what motherboard and processors you are using for your set-up to give me an idea on what to buy.

Just now i am listening to Q.O.T.S.A., Music for the deaf, this sounds like a really well mixed album, some cool sounds.
 
How about you let us know what sound cards you are looking at?

Because my set-up works fine with a delta 44. But it's a mixed bag of chance that it'll work with a motu 2408.
 
I am at the lower end of the price scale. I am using an audiophile 24/96. I will probably stick with this sound card for a while. Just now i am using a tascam 414 portastudio as a mixer. I will be buying a mixer with an s/pdif out to hook up to the audiophile. But before i get the mixer i would like to find out what would be a good choice of motherboard and processor etc to buy.
