and how can i avoid them?

i don't want my CEpro to save those little beast unless they are very important.

are they?

PK files are used to store the "image" (graphic representation) of your waves... If you delete a PK files CEP need to redraw the waveform when you load a file. There's no need to delete pk files, they speed up the loading time.

visa - go into Cool Edit's Help. Do a search on 'pk'. Read what comes up. Easy.
