I was about to buy some rigid fiberglass for my jam/recording room and the guy at the store said they also have these products.

does anyone know anything about these pruducts. I am ready to start on my room this weekend.

Nope- stick with the rigid fiberglass. The homosote is intended as part of a sound resistanat wall- not an accustic streatment- and from what i've read it doesnt do that very well either.
