Whast the best way to save and import midi files to/from CD?

I have a little trouble importing them, they always open in a seperate track view. Any suggestions?

Also, how can I save them? I spend hours and hours working on drum patterns and stuff, and often times I want to save them in a bunch file type of format just in case I have a crash or something, and I cant seem to do it without saving the audio scratch tracks and stuff too, which I dont really care to do? How can I quickly and easily save my midi files to a CD and move on?

Really getting the hang of this midi stuff. I like it now. Used to think it was stupid because of the GM sounds being crap. The alternatives are immense now.

Any other midi tricks for drums appreciated!

To import: Yes, the MIDI-files will open in a seperate track view. Drag the clips in the original Track-View, and your all set.

To Save: Basically the same, create a new project, drag/copy the selected clips over to it, and save it as MIDI File...

Ahh, save it as a MIDI file, same place as the little box that pops up and lets me save it as a bundle file? I missed that somehow. Thank you. That will help.

Why does an import open in a seperate window? It should open in the highlighted track, at the projects tempo. If I import a diff tempo midi track, it changes the whole projects tempo. Thats bullshit.
