I thought about you, but I figured
that was probably a little before your time. It was sort of a last minute thing and my wife actually wanted to go more than I did (she always had a thing for Carl). I might not have gone had I known what it was going to be like, but I'm glad I did. It was ELP music, only certain instrumental pieces, no vocals, and NO KEYBOARDS! All of the keyboard parts were played on guitar by a (relatively) young shredder. I felt sorry for them because the audience was tiny, old, and what I considered not appropriately enthusiastic enough.
Got signed sticks and a drumhead signed at the merch. table though. Almost everybody who was there stayed and bought something and he signed it all. Heckuva nice guy, I thought. They let you take pictures as long as it wasn't flash. I only got one good one that wasn't blurry.
