Thats because Jack Russell's are essentially a large muscle shaped somewhat like a dog. They like to run. and run. and run.

I have small quantity of Behringer stuff, and for what I use it for I can't complain.

I use the composer pro as a limiter/compressor for headphone foldback. I often add in a little of the virtualizer pro so a bone-dry recording sounds a little nicer in the vocalist's headphones.

I use the Ultracurve pro as a digital to analog converter, and EQ and brickwall limiter before the power amps for monitoring.

Do note there are no Behringer products between my mic/synths and the recorders :D

did someone say "Jack Russell?":D

studio's looking like it will have some nice space. I am sure you'll be anxious for "opening day"

wow man...if you lost your cat this last Monday, I am truely sorry...even being the dog man I am. If your were attached to Ceaser as much as I am to my guys, that has to be a hard thing.
Thanks for sharing the pic.
;)

This is Spanky. Spoiled rotten and the meanest little one year old you ever saw.

oh my gawd!!! a boston terrier!!!

There's a guy at the kennel club that has boston terriers.. His one named "jazz" just FLYS THRU the agility course.. Trained like a damn marine. The dog will sit motionless if instructed...then off like a bat...................

Thanks much, your thoughts are appreciated.

Ceaser, unlike the other three kitties we have, was a lot more dog-like in his behavior.

Up until a week ago (on his 23rd birthday in fact), he was out on the front lawn chasing rabbits. Not bad for an old man, not bad at all.

I was very attached actually, as was my wife. I had him most of the 23 years, and when my wife ended up in the picture 8 years ago, Ceaser adopted her. Often, while we were sleeping, my wife would sleep on her side facing me, and Ceaser would sneak in between us, put his back towards her, and encourage "spooning".

It was cool that a 20lb muscle cat (even at 23) could sneak onto the bed and you'd not know it, he was graceful and very coordinated.

Anyway, didn't mean to make this sappy, and thank you for the kind words.

pets

Since I couldn't find the pet thread in "the cave", I'll ruin this one :)

here is a picture of my wife's cat, "Spike". Technically, he's not a cat, but an asian leopard, the genetic predicessor to the "bengal".

Here is a picture of Spike, sitting on the arm of the chair dragging around a balloon. Spike has a balloon fetish, and whenever there are balloons, he drags them throughout the house all day.

Tell me about it, I've got a Jack Russell Terror named "Vader." He lives up to his name every chance he gets.

Do large dogs technically count as bass traps or as slat wall resonators?

Does it depend on whether or not there mouth is open??

What's the reduction coefficient of dog druel?

I HAD two studio cats... and a studio dog... wife and oldest son became allergic to them... had to part with them :(

If you call it a studio..

Sorry for the bad pics...

I am still loading things in so it is very empty..

Scott... Sorry to interupt the pets... The studio looks nice. i would say 1 thing about your setup though, and it is a very small thing that can make a pretty big difference, and that is set your monitors up. When I purchased my Tannoy Reveal monitors, the manual that cam with them was very good. It basicly said "If you bought Tannoy monitors, you know how to hook them up. Now here's a little on placing them right." Very informative. Here's a link to the manual in a PDF format. I'd suggest reading through it to anyone.
