Weirdness with Cakewalk

Lastnight I was messing around with the graphic EQ in Cakewalk Homestudio 2XL again, Did several tracks and all was well, I EQd a guitar track: the following is the result

After EQ the visible waveform started out equal on each side of the center line, then as it progressed dropped down to the bottom part of that track, if that makes sense, my ignorance on the proper terms hinders my ability to explain it much further. Anyone know how to take a screen shot of the desktop?

I can say with complete and total confidence that I have no idea what you're talking about.

You can save your image in Microsoft paint if you don't have anything else.
