Weird bug! help!

So: Im recording in multitrack using the right andeft channels as seperate tracks, and I've run into a wierd bug. The left channel recording waveform starts rising up off of the center line up to the top of the track, and gets all distorted. I've tried fiddling with the 'adjust for dc' thing, but that doesnt change anything.

Anybody seen this before or have any advice?

Hmmmm...yes, when i had something hooked up in a feedback loop, as I remember. It puzzled the Halifax out of me but I eventually tracked down where I had the signals crossing.
