Updating the new link for this track. Sorry I had to delete the previous version of this track in order to remaster it. Hope you'll enjoy this new remastered version

I basically made all the instruments, including the bass, more present and also added a lot more sub frequencies to the kick!! (also I'm sorry I had to create a new thread again to post this link because I kept getting logged out when I tried to update the link in the previous post:))

I don't know anything about techno, but I like this one. I like how its breaks out of regularity periodically. That bit of maverick sound at 0.49 - you could have used that sound and that approach more, and if you explored that approach, the piece could have been longer. I really like what the small sounds hard left and right add - just the right level.

I don't know what you think of Zappa, but check out how he deals with changing up a pattern or groove, especially on his instrumental stuff. He's good at it.

Good tuneage.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback and the detailed listen. I appreciate it. I used the sound at 0:49 to add a slight change to the repetitive pattern. The sound is a pure sine tone with some distortion added (the "soft" setting on the distortion plugin) Also, I increased the levels of the hard right and left panned percussion at the very last moment - Now I'm really glad that I made that change :)

I've definitely heard of Zappa and what a talented musician he is. I listened to some of his music a few years ago and I thought they sounded very unique and original. Really fresh approach to songwriting indeed!

I like that bass(base) sound. One of the nicer synth bass sounds I have heard. As much as I like it, I really think you should figure how to change it without radically altering its purpose. I would say, if you play guitar or can mimic a quick (3.5K or above) cut in at short bursts with some instrument (ta, ta, ta, taaaaa). Break it up a bit as a distraction/addition. Might add a pinch of salt.

Nice little tune.

Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to the track. Really glad you liked that synth bass sound. In the previous version that I deleted, it was really dark (opened it up a bit in this remastered version). I agree with you about the need for some changes in the song patterns (bass and melodies, among others) ! I had a great time listening to your track "I can hear you coming" on SC... Really liked how you started with the vocals right away after that short intro - really engaging chord progression. The change created by the guitar towards the middle was very nice. Loved how the chord changes created a very nice modal effect with the vocals as well. Great bridge section - it made going back to the original progression really powerful. Great song!!
