I have started using Sonar 2.2 (from pa9) exclusively at work now and things are getting smoother but I have one thing that I just can't get around.

The wave editing view is now a zoomed version of the track view and there is no way to scroll forward and back with the keyboard. I have to use the mouse (which is too slow for me). I have to force myself not to go back to pa9 when I have to do alot of wave editing. PA9 could scroll the wave editing view with the right and left arrow keys.

Thanks, RD

Yup, it's zoomed version of the track view, thus you don't need Audio View anymore. Edit straight in Track view. For scrolling (...do you mean go previous or next measure ? )... Use Ctrl + PgDn / Ctrl + PgUp...

You may look for keyboard shortcut in Help Menu...

But I miss the old way, Jaymz... :(

I know how that feels. When the first time I took a leap to SONAR, I miss Cwpa 9 alot... but once you get used to it... You won't be back...

Yeah, I did find that measure advance thing but sometimes I like to keep a particular spot and look ahead or behind. I guess I will get used to it but I hate the mouse for anything except precision edits. Sonar is a bit more "mousey" than pa9 in my opinion. It is worlds better in so many other ways though.

I think the loop explorer is like the "take bin" in an early Digidesign program called "Session 8". It was a great tool for buiding solos and improvizations. This thing seems to even more of an onion every time I get into it.
