I have Aardvark 24/96, no external synths or samplers, and am very picky and anal about my drum tracks (want full range of tones, volume, etc.)

I ordered a wav cd, but it hasn't come; will it help, when I get it?

Now I'm miking indiivdual drum noises (I have a drumset) at all the volumes/tones I want, making CYC files and triggering the sounds, then controlling volume with track volume! Is there an easier way?

A CD with what waves? Loops or hits?

And if you have a drumset, why don't you just play it? That way you can get the drumsound excatly as you want it... ;)

What is happening to us?

I don't know... is CYC-files for the Cyclone DXi?

I don't see how that's gonna solve the problem...

I mean like a really cool robot. You know, one that could clean the house, cook dinner, do the knitting, and play drums for him.

I saw a robot play the drums at Disney World. I think he was a bear.

It's a big download, but if you buy the [magazine] Computer Music (issue 58) you get the whole kit, and a VSTi Drum-machine... :)

I haven't given this Kit a whack just yet but I will. It seems to me that the best way to go is to actually PLAY the drum part.
