I downloaded about 60 free VST plugins, tried them out, and then decided not to use most of them. Now, after deleting them, they are still showing up in Wavelab in the DirectX area of the Effects pane.
I've tried the method on page 27-628 of the Wavelab manual for excluding VST plugins, but that seems to have no effect in the DirectX window. I've also deleted the .dll files from the VST folder, but they still show up in DirectX!
The curious thing is, in the DirectX list, the names all begin with VST, and then the name of the plugin.
In Sonar this problem has a simple solution...there is a Sonar Plugins Manager available. Is there something similar for Wavelab?
Thanks,
Terry
