WaveLab 2.02 does not see RicohMP7060S CDR/W

Hi sweet spirits. As subject says, Wavelab2.02 won't see my new RicohMP7060S drive. A Wavelab3.0 demo does. I've got a PC running Win98. I've updated with a CDR driver program. GRI_MMC2.dll is in the system dir. for Wavelab. I've followed the cues at the Steinberg site & nothing seems to work. Does anyone clearly understand how, where, & what drivers to use? I've reloaded Wavelab2.0,it's .02 update & the CDR update every which way I can think of. No error messages. Just doesn't see it. Ricoh's drive runs through an Adaptec SCSI board with the latest drivers. I've got a DMA66 board for my 20gig drive with the latest drivers. Inlakesh, Clarion.

I've had the same problem (Wavelab 2.0 with SCSI driven yamaha burner) and the only way I could get it to recognize it was by turning the burner on before turning the computer on. Dont ask me why, but it works this way for me. Good luck!
