Wave out feature on soundcard?

I just purchased a delta 1010 soundcard and am extremely happy with the results im getting.

previously I was using a soundblaster live card that came with my computer haha.


The soundblaster card had a "Wave out" / "Stereo out" feature in the mixer that allowed me to record everything that was coming out of my soundcard. (including computer generated error messages, etc)

I used this quite a bit and the 1010 doesnt seem to have anything like that - is there a feature here I seemed to miss?

If you really want all of the error messages and such, go to your M-Audio Delta Control panel, then to the patchbay, and set whatever output you want to WaveOut 1/2

I think thats what you'd like to do.. right?

Hmmmm... i just tried that and its giving me an awful, grainy, distorted sound?

Any tips?
