I use to use windows 98 and my sampler Akai S2000 together in harmony (via a SCSI connection). Now I have XP and it won't recognize my sampler in my programs. Is there some difference that I don't know about. Neither OS has a driver for it, so I really don't think it's that. Besides, it was said that the sampler doesn't need a driver to work with the OS. Please help!!!

Re-load windows 98....

Seriously though, try contacting the Akai guys about this. I'll bet they have a fix or driver of some sort. If not refer to my original suggestion.


I'm sure someone here will have an idea....
