Wave editing in Sonar2 XL?

Are there more wave editing capabilities in Sonar2 XL as opposed to Cakewalk Pro 8? Thanks in advance. ~~~Lee
 
'Wave Editing' is a pretty loose definition. Sonar has a few more functions than PA9 (and earlier versions), but it's not a wave-editor yet.

Get yourself SoundForge, Cool Edit, or whatever for the really difficult tasks..
