Hello:
I recorded a 1 minute guitar piece which took up 3 audio tracks. When I converted the tracks to a single file (.wav). The file size was 12.2mb. Why so large?
When I converted the audio file from .wav to mp3 it became much smaller 1.1mb.
So if I record a full song at around 3 minutes, a .wav file would probably be 36mb...That's a lot of hard drive space...
Is there a way to make audio files smaller in .wav format? Do I need to configure something in my software....I'm using Quartz Audio Master....My buffer rate is set at 100ms.
Thanks.....
