Hi guys and gals,
I had a thread the other day 1k Tube Mics and was asking about mics in that price range as I'm looking to expand the studio. Thankfully a lot of people gave me some great suggestions and I've been doing research for sometime so here are my plans / ideas. Right now I'm in a spare room in my house with acoustical treatment and a setup of Mac - Logic - Apogee Duet - Yamaha HSM50 Monitors - Rode NT1a - a few SM 57s. After recording some of my bands stuff with a buddies help and doing some acoustic EPs for friends I'd like to use my attic space 22x20 and frame it out in to some smaller rooms control room, vox room, guitar / drum room and kind of make it more of a studio than what I have. I'd like to record local bands and so forth and want to make it as nice as possible (budget pending). After listening to everyone's suggestions and listening to drum mic madness and reading some other threads / sites / reviews I've come up with some ideas of what I want and wanted to see what everyone thought of my about 4-5k budge on microphones / ai / pres. Here are my thoughts.

I'm going to be running in to a Mac with Logic and have the Apogee hooked up right now as my audio interface. My main vox / acoustic mic is a Rode NT-1a and I use SM57s for the electric guitar miking and sometimes I use the Rode.

What I'm looking to do is expand out and record all instruments and am looking to spend up to 5k on eqiupment.

What I'm thinking about:
Kick Drum - AKG D112
Snare - SM57
Overheads - Rode NT5(matched) - Peluso CEMC6 (matched) - Josephson C42(matched) - Here are a few choices. I've heard great things on the Josephson's and some good stuff on the Peluso but how far apart are these in quality and are they that much better than the Rode's?
Toms - Cad M177s (3)

Audio Interface - Motu 896Mk3

Vocal Microphones (LDCs) - Shure Sm7b, Kel HM-U7, maybe CAD M9 - I'm looking for some decent priced quality mics and wanting to have a little bit of variety for sound

Mic Pre (possible choices) - Shinybox 500 Si - BLA Auteur - UA 610 Solo - SafeSound P1 - GT Brick

Any suggestions / recommendations / comments on the choices I've made and / or your favorite pick out of multiple possibility choices I have and why would be great. Thanks for helping me learn and grow.
