Wanted : Gadgetlabs Wave/496

Hi every one, new to this forum as far as posts go, but I have been here readin' everythin' for a few years now. I'm currently lookin' for a Gadgetlabs Wave/496 (Card & Breakout Box) to add to the one I have in my machine now. Would pay, or trade somethin' out for it. I have 2 Midiman DMAN 2044's with breakout cables (2 in one machine gives ya 8 in 8 out) that I'd part with if any one's interested in that sorta setup. Just lemme know if ya have a GL Wave/496 for sale, and the price, and if reasonable, I'd be very interested.

Items I Have To Trade...

Well I don't really have any mics that you'd be interested in. Mostly cheap Nady's and Peavey's for live applications. I do have a 12 channel DOD mixer that's in perfect condition, standard 19" rackmountable, here's the key to this board, it has 12 XLR inputs (with preamps) and 12 direct outputs for each channel (post EQ, pre fader). The model is DOD R1222. I also have a Samson MPL1204 with basically the same specs as the DOD. 12 XLR imputs, Plus it has 1/4" balanced inputs, and 12 direct outs (Post EQ, Prefader). I also have a Lexicon MPX100 Effects Processor that's only been used about 5 times. It's like brand new. And, I have 2 Trident wireless mics... Damn good systems, just not the same as "Shure". I'd be willin' to trade any of these items for the Wave/496 set up. I also have 2 EQ's to add to this list.

Lemme know if I've mentioned anythin' ya might be interested in. Here's a couple of other items that I'd be willin' to trade too...

Jackson KE2 Kelly Guitar with Hardshell Jackson case,
Samick Greg Bennett series D100 acoustic electric with cut away, and delux hardshell case. (Passive electronics) Both guitars are in MINT condition!

Oh Yea, One More Thing...

Then there's alway cash... If you don't see anythin' you'd be interested in above, I could always just buy it from you. Lemme know what ya think ya might want for it if it does boil down to money.

I have a GL Wave 8/24 with card, breakout box, etc. that I'd like to sell if you're interested.....make an offer.

Worked fine last time I had it installed about 2 years ago. The only thing wrong with it is the clip for the CD audio out is busted but the connection still works.

Well, if u don't see anythin' listed above that you'd like to trade for, I guess as an offer, I could offer u about $150 for it if it is in workin' order. I'm not really good at makin' offers, so if this offer offends u, then I'm sorry, but kinda gotta have an idea of where to start, and what you're wantin' for it.

PS How did the CD audio out clip (which means nuthin' to me really 'cause I won't be usin' it) get busted?

I'd do the 496 for the acoustic.

I only have a classical right now and need an acoustic/electric.

Deal! I'd gladly swap u the Acoustic/Electric for the 496! Ok now here comes the fun part... How do we do this? This will be my first time doin' this, and I'm not really sure of the methods involved. I'd like to think I'm an honest person,
and 100% plan on holdin' my end of this bargain up. Do u have the cable that goes with the wave/496?
 
Actually, that's about what I had in mind and seems to be what they go for these days. I hear some guys have developed new XP drivers for it now. I was trying to run this in Win2K and actually got it working pretty well but I have a LynxTwo card now ;). Anyhow, I broke the CD audio jack trying to rig a connection with a different style connector.......unsuccessfully however. But the jack should still work, just the plastic housing is broken.

So, if you cover shipping cost (maybe $10), it's yours and since I haven't actually had it running in a while you can return it and I'll give you a refund if you have problems.

Let me know and I'll PM you with my email address.

Hey, I want this set up, as well as the 8/24. I wanna close this deal before I start another. Just feel safer if I don't have too many things goin' on at one time. As for the guitar, I've put some pics of it up for u to see... It's in perfect shape, has NO scratches, dings, or anythin'. If anythin', just a little dust on the case. Here ya go!
 
Now all I gotta do is figure out how to check my PM's....

Hey I took the guitar in today to have it set up, and checked out... Brand new strings were put on, and it's ready to go... How do u wanna do this?

Ok for some reason I've gotten neither PM or email. But that doesn't mean I won't. I hope u saw the pics! Beautiful guitar... And much tone to boot! Sounds like we have a deal! I'll keep a check on my email, as I'm sure you've explained how we go about doin' this trade. I'm very excited, and can't wait to get the 496!
