A reserve price wasn't met for a dmp3 auction, but afterwards he sold me one directly for $140 including shipping, not bad for a new unit.

This guy sells every day with a reserve at $130. I have a bid on one right now for $129.99, just under the reserve.

With this seller, the stupid buyers wind up bidding the price up higher than they could buy it outright, including shipping.

$140 shipped is OK. Thanks for the tip.

I'm not interested in paying more than 66% of new-discount price for used gear. The DMP3 would have to be down around $85 or less for consideration as used gear.

Every DMP3 I've seen used is selling at $100 or more. Silly to pay so close to new, when a few bux more gets you a brand new unit, with a guaranteed warranty.
