Hi friends!
I am planning my new room(23 square meters)
Do you think mounting my mackie monitors in the wall is a good idea? Are the mackies "big enough" for this?
Any advice?

Depends on the construction of the wall, and the volume you intend to pump through.

Somewhere in this homerecording.com system someone posted plans for soffit mounts - i.e. inserting your speakers INTO the wall, thus making for better acoustics because the wall surface is flush with the speaker surface.

Smaller speakers should be mounted away from the wall, say, at least a foot or so. More for larger speakers. Prevents low frequency rumble coming off the wall immediately behind them. Or, cover the wall with acoustic tile, that helps too.
