Wah wah a go go!

I like the fade in, and the sweeping filter. The drums that came in kinda disappointed me...I think you could have just started all the instruments at once then. Interesting use of the wah gtr. Using it as the focal point works, and I'm glad you took off on a solo around 2:00 using it. The chord changes are decent enough, but the song doesn't seem to have a particular direction that it is taking. makes a nice "jam" kinda feel, and sounds like a really good start to making a vocal song, or one that just shows good use of a wah wah.

mixmkr,

Thanks for the listen, and positive coments. I didn't like the drums either, it was a new drum machine. I kind of rushed it.

The fade in was fingerpicking, volume pedal, and wah pedal all together, glad you like it. I had to do many takes, before I got the sound I wanted.

Thanks, I owe you a listen!!

Seems to me you have a good start to a good jam here...I kept hearing a Satriani type lead over it....good groove....now it needs something special to set it apart from the rest.....nice job on the mix and recording!

Mac, you read my mind. I was thinking the same thing. Sounds cool so far.

MAC2, and Track Rat,

Thanks much for listening.

I thought that maybe it was too busy, what with electric, and aoustic on it, but I think your right this song being what it is could be as intence as posible, hence the name storm.

A strong lead might be just the thing.

Just for fun, if anyone wants to stick a lead on this, I'd love to hear it.

Gt,

Wah to go!...............I know, not funny...... but I had to say it. :)

Pretty cool. I liked it. Nice use of wah. I recently bought the "Steve Vai Bad horsie Wah."

I like the way this song comes in too. I agree with the most of the previous comments. I did like it though.

Good Job!

Hmmmm......I might take a stab at it. Could be fun.

Track Rat,

Go for it dude!!! Cool!!!

Make sure we get to hear it.

I like the fade in.

Drums ruin it completely.

I like the song! The delay is just a hair too saturated on the first feedback.

Rats,

How are you, and all the little Rats?

Sorry about them drums, I agree, they be bad, and not the good bad either. Wait did I just say, the good bad? Not familar with new drum machine at the time, I must have had it set on unreal.

Glad you liked the song!!

Thanks for listening.

God I've seen lots of good tunes come out of this site. Hell not too long ago a gentleman posted a link to a video he created in a 3d editor that went along with his tune. Was about a bunch of vegetables dancing around.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say here is that I love the tune. The mix sounds great to me... but i'm using headphones at work.

Got some "all along the watchtower" influence from hendrix?

I like the bass line. The drums sound fine to me.

The intro's kinda raw.
Love it man.

Tvaillan,

Thanks for the many kind words.

I don't like to say Hendrix had anything to do with this song, because simply put, I'm not worthy. I think Hendrix has influenced us all!

I threw some chords together that sounded good to me, and made this song.

Thanks again,

GT

I usually dont mind different sounding drums and once the song began they kind of became acceptable, but the intro part where you just have the drum beat was not very pleasant. It kind of highlighted the fakeness of them, but the song itself didn't feel like you were going for an electronic feel, so that bare drum part kinda hurt.

BUT

The song is great! It's too much fun! I love wah and I love catchy guitar instrumentals and you've done a good one. My only complaint once we got into the song is that it wasnt longer and didnt have a section that was markedly different from the main one. But anytime someone says a song is too short, that's got to be a good thing.

I liked the mix a great deal. The guitars were clear and didnt get muddied up with each other. Good job!

NobleSavage,

Thanks for the kind comments. Greatly appreciated.

BTW: Love the name, NobleSavage!
