I don't know what I am doing wrong, but the sound quality of my final project comes out very low. I usual use the normalize feature on wavelab went i record anything, but the sound still comes out low. is there anything that i need to buy because i run it all into the computer. Please help.

You may have too much peak progam material. Are you normalizing to peak? You may need to do some compression or limiting to get your RMS volume up. Try a little hard limiting before you normalize. It's hard to be more specific without hearing or seeing the mix. Can you post a sample?

I can post something over the wekend for you to check out. I do normalize to the peek, but i did not try to compress at all. I will try that also to see what i get. thanks for the input.

I usually look at stray peaks and knock them down manually before normalizing. I also don't normalize until the very last step. You might want to try using some limiting or compresion/multi-band compression to add more "volume" to your mix.

peak master vs normalizer

totally nothing to do with your issue
i don't believe if it will make any difference as i don't use the normalizer.
but what happens if you use the Peak Master and forget about the normalizer
