VSampler/Groove Control

Hello dear gurus,

Here is what brings me here:

The goal is to use the Groove Control files from RetroFunk CD with
SONAR and VSAMPLER. The VSampler reads akai CD no probelm and all
sounds are fine. Now, I bought RetroFunk (from Spectrasonics) with
groove control, and i am having some troubles understanding how the
groove control would be played by the Vsampler.

Here is what I do:

IN THE VSAMPLER:
I open the sampler, choose my ISO file (i copied the AKAI content on
to my hard drive in ISO format) I choose "MyLoop GC (Grp)". Then it
opens the "loop GC (Grp)" into all 16 channels.

IN SONAR:
I open the MIDI folder from the Audio CD and drag and drop the MIDI
file to the Sonar VSampler MIDI track. Then, it imports also a lot
of other MIDI tracks not mapped to the Vsampler. So I map them to
the Vsampler, channel 1,2,3,4,5 etc... (painful btw)

And then i play the SONAR track .... and it makes awful sounds.... I
tried to play just the first track alone, and it does something but
when i compare it with what's on the Audio CD, it's just not the
same ...

WHAT am i doing wrong?
