VSampler 3/Akai Samples

Hi Gang

I've got Sonar 3 Pro and upgraded to the full version of VSampler 3

I'm new to using Samples and do not have any yet.

Does VSampler import Akai Sample CD's OK with no problems ?

I too wonder what samples to use for vSampler. In particular, I am looking for some good drum samples.

Are Sonic Implants any good? And if they are, what format should I choose? You can get several, but I have heard people have trouble with the giga format, unless you use Gigasampler. So soundfont could be an alternative? Particularly, since I might use them on my other older computer with only SB Audigy, also to save processing power.

Bought induvidual mulit-velocity drum sample and put togther my own custom drumkit...

I'm using Miroslav Vitous Akai Lite and it imported just fine.
