Here's an editing question for any vs users. I have a 2480.
I'd like to easily be able to move things like guitar solos around to different parts of a project. Moving "manually" it's kinda tough to get the timing just right. The part'll be right on for several beats but by the end section it's out of time.
Now I've read up on tempo map building which would, apparently, provide perfect sync for this type of editing, but, alas I never really learned all that beat/measure/time signature stuff. That's right; I'm the dumbass singer/songwriter/musician who doesn't read or write music. (sigh) HOWEVER, I can program a drum machine. Is it possible to connect my midi drum machine to the 2480 and let it write a tempo map?
