VS metronome question

I've got a vs-880ex, is there a way to use the metronome without having the first beat of every bar accented? We do some songs that stay the same tempo but have some time signature changes and my drummer doesn't want to hear an accented beat in the wrong spot.

Yes- set the time signature for 1/1! Then there's only one beat per measure, so they are all accented (equally)- Richie
