You should provide more information on what u are wanting to do. But you can connect it to your PC via MIDI for syncing purposes or route audio from the vs880 to your PC for recording two track mixes or other audio/mixing purposes. Be more specific if you want an detailed answer from me.

You should use a PC card with SPDIF in - either RCA or optical. Then it's quite easy, as you can do the mixing on your EX and 'record' on your PC.

I always go a different way and do a mix to a CDR (got an audio cd recorder) and rip the CD afterwards. Why? Well you can listen to that cd before mastering (which I - alas - do myself...).

Synch it via midi to your PC. It doesn't matter if the VS is the slave or the master as long as they are together. This way the tracks will line up.

Get a pc-based software like Sonar or Home Studio and solo the track you want to send to the PC, either via spdif or analog thru the main out of the VS and into your computer's sound card. Repeat for other tracks. This is how I have done it and it works OK. You can do two at a time this way.

There are other ways, keeping the tracks that were recorded on the VS in the digital domain and doing a data transfer but they are involved. Do a search on www.vsplanet.com.
