I own a Roland vs1680 digital workstation, it doesnt have a cd rom to upload any tracks and I do not have a keyboard hooked up yet... I want to upload a track from my cd player to the vs1680... Im not very well aquainted with this thing yet... Someone please help!

You need to record it into your VS-1680 via the SPDIF(highly recommended) or the Analog inputs or if u want to just send me the audio file and I can turn it into an VS file b/c i have an VS-2000CD.

yeah its simple...like the other person said...the 1680 has spidif and opitical (spdif is the best) Its digital quality... on your 1680 you record anything you want from a cd track from spidif...just record it as a digital sorce...its really easy...if you have a audio card in your computer you can do it...or higher quality cd players have a spdif (which is also just coaxal cable) if you need more help with this let me know...you can e-mail me on here because the chances of me reading this post again is rare
