How do you thicken (is that a word) vocals out, my voice is more hi, kinda like eminem I would say, his older stuff, but what would you suggest to make it sound fuller. I have heard compression, eq, does anybody suggest anything? thanks

If you are good, double the vocals. I am terrible, so I do one take, and then send it to a bus, with a chorus. There's a few things that could mimic this, so it really depends on teh song, and what you are looking to achieve. A chorus, a delay, compression, and reverb are some ways to thicken it up, and make it sit better, but all is dependant.

Use the proximity effect to your advantage. Try some multiband compression, and of course eq. Reverb can also thicken vocals. Chorus sometimes helps.

I find that doubling and multiband compression works well.
