vocals to bright

just a quick question,

im about to try an mix some male rnb vocals, and straight away ive noticed, they sound excessively bright!

What is the first thing to do to attack this problem?

Do i just need to bring down the high end, when eqing it?

Yeah bring down the high end.
Not sure what else you could do really.
