Vocals on audio problem

Hi Folks ,
Ok I got my midi device working now...but when I try to record on a audio track...theres a delay or reverb effect on my voice thats out of sync, yet I didnt turn reverb on...This happens whether I used my midi device or VSC device...Any help?, Thanks Sableskat

Latency i would say. Set buffers smaller if possible. Use ASIO drivers. What soundcard? What PC?

Either what 13th said, or, if you are using the likes of a Sound Blaster card, you 'input' is set to 'What U Hear'. Having it set to that the second time through you will hear a 'double' of your voice.

If it is latency, anything under about 10ms shouldn't be that audible.
