vocals for hire for demos?

Anyone know of a male rock vocalist who would be willing/able to record their lead vocal on my demo tunes if I sent them the wav file of the instrumental tracks? Not looking to spend a ton of money. Thinking maybe $30-$40 per tune, at least to start. Not looking for metal singers or R&B or pop. Just a rock singer who's not trying to sound like someone else, but is comfortable with their own voice. I have all melodies/lyrics already written, but would love someone to embellish the melody where appropriate. Please pass along any suggestions, either of individuals or sites where I could go to look further. Thanks!

Sure I would put some vocals on your tracks if I feel they fit my voice. I did a few songs for a deep purple cover band in Denmark just last week. I am pretty versatile with a good tonality. I am posting from my phone so I can get you a few examples this weekend and perhaps you can send me your music to see if we will complement each other. Thanks. Joel

Humm.... No reply. Perhaps I did not give you any reason to. I have posted links to some of my vocals in different styles of rock including a live one. I do not post original demos I have sung on so these are all covers. $40 seems reasonable for the amount of time put into it... learning the song, recording, mixing, etc...

I suppose I would have to set up a paypal account as I have not done this over the internet before. I imagine it works like this. You would find a way to send me a .wav (for quality. You can get a free adrive account and post like I have) file of your song, a text file of your lyrics and notes, if you can, a .wav or mp3 with you singing or kind of singing the melody you would like (mixed with the song preferable). Then I will sing on it and send you a mixed copy of the song. you let me know if you like the mix or what you would like me to do to it (within reason of course - could you do a 12 part chorus like in bohemian rhapsody - is not doable etc...). I will try to accommodate. I can also just send you a copy of my vocals non mixed for you or someone else to mix if you like. Then you pay me over paypal and everyone is smiley happy.

Note that most of the demos below are mixed with the vocals high so you get a good sense of what my voice sounds like. I can mix it any way you want.

I record on a Tascam dp-01 with an audio-technica 2035 so that's the quality level to expect.
