Hey all,
I was just wondering what all of you think is the best vocal tuning and pitch correction hardware/software/plugins. i am looking to get one to fix some minor vocal issues, such as parts that are flat or sharp and what not. any and all suggestions are very needed. I am using Cool edit pro at the moment but planning on upgrading to Adobe Audition. so if you suggest pluggins please make sure they are compatable with that and or are standalone. tahnks!

My vote is for Melodyne. I don't use the plugin bridge. I use it as a standalone. Pretty incredible software.

where can that program be found at and for how much? does it require alot of user monitoring? does it do it on the fly while recording? or do you input the track into it once it has been recorded? if yes, does it correct in real time or have an auto correct?

Load the whole file into a sampler, and have its pitch modulated by LFO. Will make any pitch anomalies a non-issue. :D

leave it out of tune. the musician will be driven to tune up his voice and practice.

sing harmony to things and intonation will tighten up. it may take a year or so, but it's the best thing to do.
