Vocal Processors

I was considering buying a vocal processor and was wondering if it was worth

it.(spending $400 on something that sounds similar to my preamp would be

silly) any suggestions? if yes, what would be a good option plug-in or rack

mountable hardware. Also specific models would be appreciated

Duel engine effects processor. I just bought one for the bar I work at and love it. Going to buy one for my studio next month. $ 399. totally worth it.

We use the TC Helicon Voice Live with great results.

If recording vocals is your goal you are NOT going to beat the TC-Helicon VoiceWorks for a complete package. The preamp, effects and compression are about as good as it gets at ANY price. The harmonies are just the added iceing on the cake.........
