I tripple sang these then blended them. Every song I have done, people say there is TOO much delay and reverb, SO this time I put minimum. Now someone said they are too dry. gggrrr! I want to figure out how people determine how much effects to use.

Please give a listen and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Sounds fine to me :p - They are not too dry

If I had heard this song without being asked to comment on its quality I wouldn't know that there were any issues with it.

I think your triple vocals are good no need to add anything more to them nice song

It sounds really good. On crappy laptop speakers, I don't hear any issues being too wet/dry.

It sounds professional IMO. I'm curious why did you decide to triple track your vox? I didn't know that was a common thing.

my other songs vocals have been thin. Brett Buchanan | Petaluma, CA | Alternative / Rock | Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos | ReverbNation . I purchased a better mic, thinking that would help. Then purchased a better preamp interface. Still thin. A friend suggested double track to fatten up. Then I figured if I trippled, I could center one, turn down volume of other two and pan hard left and right. Just experimenting to get my vox where I want them to be. I'm still not totally happy, but will get it one of these days! Thank you all for the feedback!

There's no magic number of what is too much and what is too little. It either sounds good or it doesn't sound good and individual tastes will vary. Do it so it sounds good to you. Personally I thought it was too much during the times you were singing without the guitar playing and good the rest of the time. Maybe you were going for that Of Montreal type vocal on those parts without the guitar, but I'm just not a big fan of that.

nuh man its sounding perfect, but it is true that every song you do will change the way you will have to mix it (naturally).

The comment = Too much echo compared to today's music maybe. Prior era's have been soaked in delay and reverb. Use what you like - or use what everyone else expects. Your choice...
