how do i cut the vocals permanently or maybe how do i make a minus one recording? im trying to use the vocal cut feature of the cep2 but im still hearing the vocals.

The vocal cut gets rid of the cente panned part of the signal. So if you have bass and snare it will get rid of some of them too. It doesn't do a perfect job either. You won't completely get rid of vocals.

THANKS. ANYWAY CAN ANYBODY SHOW ME ON HOW TO RECORD MINUS ONE OR DO IT NEED A SOME KIND OF A SOFTWARE TO MAKE.

I still don't know what a "minus one" recording is. There's no way to totally cut out JUST one track out of a multitrack mixdown of a stereo file.

Karaoke recordings are "minus one track" - the vocal - But it's not done by removing the vocal from a stereo file...you have to have the original tracks to do that.
