Vocal sounds great here. No pitch issues. Sounds like you've got pretty good control, you pushed it when it was required and didn't overdo it. Good timbre on your voice too - you should be able to belt out a few rockers in the pub on Saturday night!

The mix is a little trebley. If this is the final arrangement I would add some bottom end. If you're adding bass and drums etc then this will probably need less bass to sit in its own spaces.

Guitar was okay bit a few spots where I would redo it (out of tune slightly due to the varying pressure on the frets.

Now the good news....

A++ performance on the vocals - not very many people can even get close to JC's vocals. No nits from me. Fabulous....:D

Thanks very much!

I wasn't really going for mix of the year. I just tossed this together to get feedback on my voice. And THANKS!!:D

Hi

From what I can remember, the vocals are better than the original. Great stuff.

Oh ,This is one of my all-time fave CCR songs...:)
Great singing, Adam, beautiful voice, great character! You did justice to the tune. How about filling it up with other instruments?

Joe :):):):)

GREAT singing bro. Very nicely done. A pleasure to listen to. :)

Your voice is great Adam...I don't think there are too many doubts there. Pitch-wise and technique-wise I wouldn't know what to say :).

If you are trying to replicate John Fogerty though, I'd say you come off as much more refined and articulate...like a more sophisticated, up-scale version. I couldn't sing this song at all probably, let alone near as well as you, but I think this sounds a bit polite in comparison...I really like it when your voice breaks up a bit especially as I don't recall ever hearing that from you, but personally I could use more of that on a tune like this.

Thanks heatmiser. You always flatter me. I now have a more fleshed out full version poted in the main mp3 forum. Check that out. I think I did pretty well.
