Wicked Machine
I've got a recording buddy of mine who has used the fine art from paintings that were done by my brother. These are paintings that my friend bought years ago from my brother. He's now made up two CD's with this artwork and went over to my brothers to give him copies. But my brother and his girlfriend are not happy that my buddy used an abstract nude for one of the covers. They asked my buddy to discontinue use of that artwork for that CD and if he wants to use additional art to contact them and negotiate it.
My musics partner is saying they have no say in it and that "he" has copyrighted the artwork. But my brothers camp is saying they never transferred the rights to any of the artwork and he is in violation. Man what a mess!
Who would be right in this case?
