Sorry for the newbish question, but can I record guitars directly into my Delta 1010lt using the virtualizer pro?

I was wanting to use one specific reverb I found on it.

Thanks.

You can, but you probably shouldn't. Generally, you never want to record with reverb to track. As once it's there, it's there. Reverb is better used as a send effect. That way you can adjust it during mixdown.

Is there a way to use outboard stuff as a "send effect", using just my 1010lt?

My simple mind requires diagrams and people to talk really slow to me!
So far, I've found neither to explain this!

Thanks again.

yes but with a bunch of things you need to pay attention to.

the basic idea is to record the track dry and then play it back through the processor and record as a new track. Some software suites will allow you to set up an external effect like a plugin (cubase does) so its a little more streamlined

Okay, makes sense broken down in little words I can easily digest. :D

Thanks

Recording it "dry" means having no effects on them. You can then use sends on the track to add reverb, etc. That way if it doesn't work, you can change it, instead of being stuck with it.
