Anyone here know anything about Virtual Guitarist from Steinberg. I just want to know if you can use it in Sonar. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with it, but if it's a VSTi you can use it in Sonar, however you will need a wrapper (VST to DX).
You can try Fxpansion. I think they have a free one, but the free might not do VSTi's (only VST). Therefore you probably will have to buy the full version.

I just want to report the full version works!
I bought Cubasis 4.0 to test the VG and to get a feel of VST technology. However, I'm so familiar with the cakewalk environment that I find Cubasis hard to use. Now with the new wraper I can play VG as another instrument like LiveSynthPro... So no need to get the full version of Cubase... They might not want to hear that though.

Yeah the VST technology seems to have been around longer than DirectX. It's more mature, and there is some very good stuff written for it.
I always felt Cakewalk should build a wrapper into their programs. At least into Sonar.
