Anyone ever had any experience with a vintage grundig condenser microphone, specifically, the gcm3, or gkm 17 (they're both the same)? It's a brown or navy blue microphone which is basically like the top of a lollipop suspended on a stand.

I also read some literature and someone said it required 100v. Would this be a misprint as phantom power is 1-48 v?

I know they were more consumer products, so I don't expect much.

Misprint?

I don't think 100V is a misprint. This is 1956, I'm not sure 48V was even standard back then. In fact, 100V polarization was probably a lot more common, as everything was run on tubes at that time.

Look up the 'Royer Mod' if you feel like building a 100V power supply.

Or, make me an offer; I love restoring condenser mics.
