Quick questions...

Where are the returns for the Aux Send 1 and 2? Do you just have to come back into an unused track? Also, can the inserts on 7/8 only be used while tracking, as in only when a signal is coming in? Thank you...

There's no dedicated Aux returns so you'll have to use unused inputs. And I'm pretty sure that you're right about the inserts.

You can plug the aux sends into G-H and then put a processor in the inserts and then use the processor as if it were on a send return loop while recording on GH

Ok, so I can only do that while tracking right? If I want to just put some reverb on an already recorded track, I would have to come back into an unused track.

It's not a huge deal if I can just get it where I want it and then just buss is back to the original track.

You got it

That's it. Play the track, send it to G-H from an aux out, plug your reverberator into G-H insert and record on G-H then track exchange it to the new position.

OR send it to the stereo reverberator, record L&R returns from effect and now you have two tracks stereo reverb and the dry track to mix.

As far as I can tell the Fostex has none to inaudable latency.
