Hi there, has anyone been down this road?
Going to be recording soon using a friends vf160. We were hoping to use adats for mixing at my home studio.
I know I can download 8 tracks at a time to an adat, but to take advantage of the 24 tracks available in the fostex, I would need 3 tapes per every 24 tracks, which isn't a problem in itself ( I've got the tapes and 24 tracks of adat at home).
What I am wondering is if the adats will sync the tapes recorded thru the fostex in this manner. There seems to be no sync plug on the fostex, and I'm unfamiliar with the unit.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated...thanks...Sam
