Vf-80

Brand new here. This is my first post. After researching all the digital multitrackers in the $1000 range it seemed to me the best bang for the bucks was the Fostex VF-80. I have a home recording studio and have been recording for many years, always analog on a Teac 3340S four track and a Sony TC-388-4 four track, both reel to reel machines. Old but both excellent. This is my first venture into the digital realm. I bought the VF-80 with the CD burner and am finding the learning curve rather steep, but it's coming along. I have found very little info on the VF-80 anywhere on the web other than specs. Anyone here using the VF-80? Anyone know where I can find user reviews? I'm most interested to hear any info about the VF-80. Thanks

I have the VF 08 I hear they were about the same thing...I have had good experiances with this little mixer and high quality sound... The only thing I do have a problem with is it's effects and how they run...You can't have more then one kind of a effect on a track...Say you want Double Effect on track 1...That means your stuck with the double effect on all the other tracks..But over all I think it's a good product..
