I want to use "acid rock" wav files. How can I import them in?

The VF uses a certain numbering system to name it's programs and wav files. This is what track 1 looks like on Program 19 in my fostex right now:

#0019_01.WAV

You'll need to rename those acid rock files to fit this scheme.Just assign them a program that is not being used yet.If the last program in your VF is for example "10" then name the files as program "11".You'll need to rename your acid rock files #0011_01.WAV for track 1 and #0011_02.WAV for track 2 and so on.

I use a Jaz drive to import/export wavs in/out of my VF.You can also use a Zip drive or one of the confirmed Plextor SCSI CD drives.

Kramer,

thanks for the reply. I'll try your suggestion.

vr 16 & wavs

is it easy to manipulate the wav files once there in? can you make them longer etc.. (also what key do they come in & can the key be changed or do you this before hand.

Sorry about all the questions.

You need to make any neccesary key changes BEFORE you dump them into the VF 16.

VF16

I think Kramer is confusing Program Number and Song Title.
WAV files for the VF16 can have a name: e.g. ANGELS01.WAV, (that's ANGELS zero one), ANGELS02.WAV, etc. If you name them like this the song name is imported with the files.

Not confused at all......the example I listed was of a "nameless program".You CAN give a PROGRAM a "song title".It's simple Im sure you have done it but you are just confused. You go to the all familiar PROGRAM SELECT button on the face of the VF 16 and choose your PROGRAM(which can also have a Title).:D

Even if you give a program a song title it will still show the PROGRAM # before the title when you go to PROGRAM SELECT to select your PROGRAM.:D
