PLEASE please... tell me everything i need to know about a Soundtracs MRX 24 console...

Anyone had one ?

It seems great sounding to me (compared to my Mackie 24/8)...

Any suggestion ?

Hope i will get some replies soon :D (and sorry for the hurry)...

Ok no replies, but i didnßt worry too much...

After being in doubt for a Topaz a Gs3 (Allen & Heath) or this...

Well... after hearing it i had NO doubt at all !!!

Great sounding EQ (VERY british), and even at flat EQ everything sounded with a bit more "body"...

A great buy... so if anyone has one or want to share his experience... feel free to post.

Yo Jumping Flashman:]

Sorry, I couldn't respond; I was cooking 30 minute eggs and had to stand over the stove.

But, sounds like you are happy with your product and that's all that really counts.

Green Hornet :D :p  :p

 Sounds like you had already made up your mind to buy. Why ask for opinions now?

Hi Green ! :D

Michael : well, i wanted to know if others had experience with this mixer, anything wrong ? :D

So NO ONE has had ANY experience with Soundtracs MRX mixers ?

I'm currently looking into buying a Soundtracs MRX 32. It comes with four Neutrik patchbays and a snake fore connecting the Mixer to the patchbay. Is this a worth while buy or should I hold out for a new soundtracs board?

lol 30 minutes to go isnt much time to get a full review from these guys, hell sometimes it takes the forum server 30 minutes to register my post and dont forget my 1 finger typing takes 30 minutes to type the post in the first place :D

My advice to you is buy from somewhere that will let you return it if you are unhappy with it. i have done that a few times and it makes me more comfortable about buying and i dont get buyers remorse when i get home

Most music stores around here give you 30 days to try stuff, i dont rack mount gear until i have tried it out and know i'm keeping it, and I dont open software packages that come with it; instead I download drivers and manuals etc from the manufacturers website and leave the stuff in a state that the whole thing can be packed up new again. I dont even use the supplied power and patch cables unless I have to. If you do this and treat the business that you bought it from with respect you'll find they will return the favour ;)

Well, the MRX series along with the Topaz is kind of the bottom of the barrel Soundtracs. However, I would still easily prefer that over the average stuff at GC today:) Make sure to give it a good cleaning and some TLC cause the MRX's are gettin old now;)

I'm sure Jumpingflash will be checking up on these responses from his post 3 years ago! lol :D

I was only 16 when i posted this, wait that's stupid, mabye cause i was 16 at the time, ahh
