I couldn't resist posting this.

This guy is standing on a 2X6 (5-1/2" wide).
His head is probably around 18 feet in the air.

(These are the roof trusses for my studio being installed.)

He he he.
Yeah.
I use it for cutting the lawn and digging fence posts.

(Actually, the city is putting in a new water line in the easement behind me.)

I stand corrected...

Kind of anyway. That's not really a Proof of Progress picture, just some guy gettin high at your new place.

rofl!
Yeah, I guess that's true.

They got all the trusses up today and will sheath and shingle the roof tomorrow.

I took my son to little league practice tonite, so when I got home it was dark, but I had a chance to walk into the studio, and get a feel for it.

Man, those ceilings, with the cathedral trusses, and the 10' walls are massive!
I may need to rent a bigger lift to sheetrock it, or build a temporary, movable platform to set the regular hoist/lift on.

Michael,

Price the bigger lift. And get it over the weekend. I know that up here you can pick it up on Friday evening and use it all weekend, returning it on Monday and pay only for Saturday. It may not be that way down there but it has been in all the past times that I've needed one here.

Yeah, it works that way here too.

Rockin' that ceiling though, when the time comes, is going to be more than a 1 weekend job.

I'm green with envey Mike. I'd give just about anything to have a room that big. Very cool.

Thanks Track.
Hey, you know, if you're ever in Austin, the studio's always open!
We can always put down the political gloves, and concentrate on music.
Your stuff on NWR is first class!!!
