I've been using Vegas Pro with a Delta 1010 card for about 6 months, and it's been great. Thinking about upgrading to Audio 2.0 for $89. It doesn't appear much different except for the XFX2 and XFX3, and a couple features like Click Track and Rubber Audio. Is it worth it?

XFX2 has the "mastering" software like multiband dynamics, etc. Should I just get the XFX2 package for $34? How is the Sonic Foundry dynamics plugin compared to, say DB Audioware, for about the same price?

Thanks,
Chris

I think the upgrade was worth it. My favorite advantage is being able to input fx on individual tracks. As far as the xfx plugs, I recently got waves native bundle and its like night and day. I don't think SF dynamics are very good at all anymore. I've never used db audioware plugs though.

db-audioware and XFX plug-ins

I used both and db is superior for the limiters it provides. Better interface and sound quality in my opinion. Vegas 2 is worth the upgrade though and there are other effects that are beneficial there. Good luck.

It's definitely worth the upgrade.

Depending on the type of music you create, the Multi-Band Dynamics plug-in is very good (I make "House Tracks").
